Overview

The Run for Clean Water is a charity fun run aimed at raising awareness and funds for Africa Care Foundation's water scarcity initiatives. Participants of all levels, from seasoned runners to casual walkers, are invited to lace up their shoes and join the cause. Every step taken in this event will bring clean drinking water to underserved communities in Africa.

Registration and Participation

Participants can register online or at selected registration centers. A registration fee will cover a race kit, which includes a t-shirt, race bib, and water bottle. Early bird registration will be available with discounts for group entries. Participants can choose between running a 5k or a 10k, depending on their fitness level.

Virtual Option

Those unable to attend in person can opt for the virtual race option, tracking their distance and submitting results online.

Sponsorship Opportunity

Sponsorship packages are available for companies and individuals looking to make a difference. Sponsorship tiers include options to sponsor water stations, event medals, race t-shirts, and post-race refreshments. Sponsors will receive brand visibility on event marketing materials, the race website, and banners throughout the race course.

Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteers are needed to assist with event logistics, including registration, water station management, post-race clean-up, and helping at the finish line. Volunteers will receive event t-shirts and certificates of appreciation.

Impact Metrics

• Each participant’s registration fee will provide clean drinking water to 10 families for a month.
• The event aims to raise enough funds to build 5 clean water wells in drought-prone regions.
